Saturday, 31/10 | Online Cacao Circle | 17:00 CEST (Berlin Time) We gather online on a day marked in the Mayan Cholq’ij calendar as 9 Iq’. Iq’ is associated with the wind, breath, communication and inspiration. It reminds us of the subtle forces that move through us and around us. The breath that gives us life, the words we speak, the ideas and inspiration we receive... The number 9 is associated with the feminine, gestation, life and the creative force. It carries a connection to the nine months of human pregnancy and to the capacity to nurture and bring something into being. Together, 9 and Iq’ invite us into a space of feminine wisdom and inspiration. And there is something especially fitting about meeting on October 31. Beyond Halloween as we know it today, this time of year has long carried associations with mystery, death and rebirth, ancestors, intuition and the unseen. It is the witchy season, a threshold time that invites us to turn inward and listen. In this ritual with cacao, we will do a womb practice and meditation and we will work with our breath to create space for inspiration to arise. What wants to speak through you and through your body and womb? Cacao will accompany us as a plant ally as we slow down and move from thinking into sensing. Once you sign up, I'll send you all the information about sourcing and preparing your cacao, as well as what to prepare for our ritual. You'll join the virtual circle on the day with your cup of cacao already prepared, and ideally in a thermos bottle so it stays warm. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO JOIN: A quiet space where you can sit comfortably, but also lay down and where you won’t be disturbed, your prepared cacao, your journal and pen, a candle and matches or lighter, and to have your camera on so we can share this space more personally together. ➜ If you have any heart conditions, are pregnant, or are taking medication and wish to drink cacao, please let me know in advance, as in some cases a smaller dosage is recommended.
