Sunday, 27/09 | 16:30–18:30 CEST (Berlin time) We gather online on a day marked in the Mayan Cholq’ij calendar as 1 Q’anil, the beginning of a new 13-day cycle. Q’anil is associated with the seed, ripening and abundance. It carries the energy of the plant kingdom and reminds us that everything that eventually comes to fruition begins with something small that needs our care. The number 1 represents beginnings and the seed itself. Although a seed can appear small, it already carries within it the potential of what it can become. Together, 1 and Q’anil invite us to consciously plant what we wish to nurture and bring into maturity during the cycle ahead. In this ceremony, you will be invited to reflect on what you truly want to grow in your life. We will bring our attention to what feels most meaningful and worthy of our energy, and choose an intention that we are willing to nourish beyond this ceremony. For this, we will do a seed-planting ritual so that we can give form to the intention we choose to carry forward. Cacao itself begins as a seed, held within the fruit of the cacao tree. In this ceremony, we will work with cacao as both plant and symbol, allowing it to inspire us as we listen to what wants to be planted and nurtured. Once you sign up, I'll send you all the information about sourcing and preparing your cacao, as well as what to prepare for our ritual. You'll join the virtual circle on the day with your cup of cacao already prepared - ideally in a thermos bottle so it stays warm. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO JOIN: A quiet space where you can sit comfortably, but also lay down and where you won’t be disturbed, your prepared cacao, your journal and pen, a candle and matches or lighter, and to have your camera on so we can share this space more personally together. ➜ If you have any heart conditions, are pregnant, or are taking medication and wish to drink cacao, please let me know in advance, as in some cases a smaller dosage is recommended.
